Within St George’s Basilica are tombs of major historic importance. These include the tomb of St Ludmila, the saint and widow of the 9th century ruler Prince Borivoj as well as the tombs of Prince Vratislav and Boleslav II. Today, the church holds classical concerts in the evenings and St George Convent is used for short-term exhibitions and expositions of old Bohemian art from the National Gallery.
